Kabar Medsos – Apple has reportedly already begun developing a foldable iPhone. So far, the tech giant has only worked on a prototype display with no set plans for a launch date.
The prototype foldable screen has an invisible hinge. An Apple patent for a foldable iPhone first appeared almost a year ago, but Apple has yet to announce any plans.
If it entered the market with a foldable phone, Apple would be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip, as well as the Motorola Razr and Huawei Mate XS. Back in December 2018, Google similarly filed a patent for a foldable mobile device.
For the 2021 iPhones, Apple is only planning minor changes, but could include an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Prototipe layar lipat memiliki engsel yang tidak terlihat. Sebuah Apple paten untuk iPhone dilipat pertama kali muncul hampir setahun yang lalu, namun Apple belum mengumumkan rencana apapun.
Jika masuk ke pasar dengan ponsel lipat, Apple akan bersaing dengan Samsung Galaxy Fold dan Galaxy Flip, serta Motorola Razr dan Huawei Mate XS. Pada Desember 2018 lalu, Google juga mengajukan paten untuk perangkat seluler yang dapat dilipat.
Untuk iPhone 2021, Apple hanya merencanakan perubahan kecil, tetapi dapat menyertakan sensor sidik jari di layar.
